It can be said that the best things in life are free! At WitneyTV we like to promote West Oxfordshire and events, businesses and charities where we see things being given back to the community. Free things as well as discount and offers. That's why tomorrow, Saturday 21st April, we begin something a bit different. We're giving things away for FREE! Using events throughout the year, WitneyTV will be teaming up with many different partners to give back to the community. Teaming up for our first goody bag is Foxbury Farm. WitneyTV and Foxbury Farm will be on the streets of Witney, giving away freebies to whoever wants some! Colouring books, recipe books, pens, balloons, badges, money off vouchers for major retailers and all for FREE! All you have to do is pop down and see us. We'll be around from 10am to midday in Witney High Street. The WitneyTV team will be with a team from Foxbury Farm so pop down, grab some free stuff and have a good time on WitneyTV! We'll be travelling around other parts of West Oxfordshire later in the year so don't worry about missing out, we'll be in your town very soon! Traditionally January should be a quiet month. The shock of Christmas is over and the knuckling down back to work for the new year but this year, January didn't seem to be quiet at all. With the launch of so many new businesses and products within West Oxfordshire, awards to some very lucky businesses and projects to keep the youngsters safe over the winter months means we see a stack of films on WitneyTV this January.  February sees some exciting announcements about WitneyTV but you'll have to wait a few more weeks before we can reveal all! With a bumper crop of films produced, a record amount of views over the Christmas period, we'll sign off from this quick update with a thank you! Thank you for Watching, WitneyTV! 

Hopefully a restful and enjoyable time for all over Christmas. WitneyTV is moving into 2012 with some exciting new features for the site and some very exclusive content which will all be announced very soon. We normally have increased views over the Christmas period and this year was no different. Our Christmas Concert ( http://www.witneytv.co.uk/videos/a-christmas-concert-from-west-oxfordshire ) received a massive amount of views over the period with our short but perfectly performed Flashmob film ( http://www.witneytv.co.uk/videos/christmas-flashmob-in-witney  ) providing musical relief to drinkers in both the Blue Boar and New Inn Witney. Some visitors may notice that the website is changing! Don't be worried, its all for the better! WitneyTV's website has been in the design stage for a while and the changes are now happening. Our commitment to the community with our user controlled events page and business directory are all taking shape and will be launched very soon. Since re-branding back in May, we have produced over 280 films, all based or linked to businesses in West Oxfordshire - over 46 films a month and all with the same outlook, positive news for West Oxfordshire BUT we still want to do more!
