Burford Beer Festival

Our very popular biennial event is being held on Saturday 30th June, from midday until 9pm at Warwick Hall, Church Lane, Burford OX18 4RY (right next to the main entrance to Burford's historic church). Free admission. A selection of real ales, bar, pig roast and BBQ available. Fantastic live music performing throughout the duration of the Festival. A great day out for the family! This is one of Burford School's major fundraising events and all profits go towards items that are of help for the students, either by way of equipment, other facilities not usually available, computers and anything that would not normally be funded by the State. Play2Give Charity Football Fun Day

Play2Give's annual children's football tournament and fun day in aid of the Oxford Children's Hospital returns on Sunday, June 16th. This 7 a side football tournament is open to all under 8s and 9s boys football teams from across Oxfordshire. Entry per team £35, plus sponsorship. As well as the football this will be a fun filled day for all the children and families to enjoy. There will be bouncy castle, face painting, coconut shy, raffle, doughnuts, food and refreshments and raffle. Last year's event raised over £5,100 for the Oxford Children's Hospital. All money raised goes to fund specialist medical equipment and facilities above and beyond NHS standard helping hundreds of thousands of sick babies, children and teenagers.
